Scoop: 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Facelift Pictured Undisguised?

A reader of Spanish auto website Autofacil claims to have nabbed the upcoming 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan without a dollop of camouflage. The photographer, Víctor Gutiérrez Poza, told the site that he caught the car from his room in the hotel Chamartín in Madrid, Spain.
While one can never be sure, the image does look legit to us. Moreover, it wouldn't be a first for a yet-to-be revealed Mercedes-Benz model to be filmed unguarded and undisguised out in the open, with the most recent case coming to mind being the CLA compacts sports saloon.

U Spy: Mercedes-Benz's Slinky CLA Sports Sedan Nabbed in Hungary

We mean it when we say it’s always a pleasure to host scoop pictures from you, our readers, and we feel especially honored when CarScoopers like Andor I. from the picturesque city of Budapest in Hungary select our site to send in their very first spy shots.
The prototype spotted by Andor is the upcoming Mercedes-Benz CLA compact sports sedan, or if you prefer, Stuttgart's "baby" CLS with a smaller footprint, but also a much smaller price tag than the brand's original four-door coupe.

New Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG with 350hp Turbo Engine and AWD Almost Completely Undisguised

The most hotly anticipated small Mercedes-Benz model since the 190E 2.3 16v (at its time, it was considered a small car for the German brand), the new A45 AMG, has been exposed for the first time with scarcely any camouflage.
In these fresh pictures, the final production model wears some black tape on the lower part of the front bumper, the grille wings, the Mercedes-Benz monikers, the center section of the rear diffuser and the side skirts, but other than that, it’s as naked as a newborn baby.
Those of you paying close attention to the new A-Class will likely have noticed that the A45 AMG's aero kit is identical to the AMG Sport styling package offered on the regular hatchback, with the only true differences between the two coming from the bigger, 18-inch multispoke alloy wheels, the honeycomb grille inserts, and the trapezoidal (instead of oval) tailpipes.

High-Res Picture Confirms that this is the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Facelift

On Tuesday, we shared a scoop shot of a 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan without a single trace of camouflage that was photographed while standing under a hotel entrance in the Spanish city of Madrid.
Because of the small size of the picture, we weren't absolutely sure about its authenticity at the time, but now that we have obtained the original, high-resolution version of the image, we can confirm that it is indeed the real deal.

New Mercedes-Benz CLA Already Available in…Die Cast Miniature Form

While Mercedes-Benz is trying to keep a tight hold on the upcoming CLA compact sports saloon, having only released bits and pieces of information along with pictures and videos of camouflaged prototypes, we've already had the opportunity to see official photos of the car.

If that wasn't enough, now, pictures of what is said to be a 1/18 scale a die-cast model of the new CLA have surfaced on the internet!

This is the New Mercedes-Benz CLA Compact Sports Saloon

While some people are enjoying Christmas Eve with their families, others are busy posting on forums and leaking official shots of new cars like the Mercedes-Benz CLA compact saloon.

A total of five images of the new Mercedes entry-level sedan including three of the exterior and two of the interior made their way online.

As was the case with the revealing CLA scoops in Iceland this past September, the car pictured here is a regular model fitted with Mercedes' AMG exterior and interior styling packages and not the CLA 45 AMG, which will feature a similar aero kit but will do away with the "diamond" front grille.

Being that it will be the first member of Mercedes-Benz's extended family of A-Class-based compact models to be offered in the States, the CLA is anticipated to make its world premiere on this side of the Atlantic, possibly as early as next month's Detroit Motor Show.

Spied: Mercedes-Benz Takes GLA Baby-SUV Out to Play in the Snow

While no one expects a crossover like the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLA (keep in mind, the name is not final) to be a true-blue off-roader, Stuttgart's engineers are making sure that their new model will be able to handle itself properly on more extreme conditions such as snow covered forest paths and roads.

Our spy shooters captured a more lightly camouflaged GLA prototype while undergoing its first cold weather testing in Northern Europe.

Mercedes-Benz Lays Out All the New Tech Features and Gadgets of the 2014 S-Class

If there's one thing the Mercedes-Benz S-Class is known for, it is for the advanced and innovative features that each generation of the brand's flagship model brings with it and which after years or sometimes even…decades find their way on mainstream cars.

There are many examples ranging from the 1959 W111 series' bodyshell that incorporated crumple zones to the 1972 W116's anti-lock braking system (ABS) and the 2005 W221's Night View Assist system.

Mercedes-Benz promises that the soon-to-be released W222 series will hold to the tradition with an array of new systems, which the carmaker claims are designed to make driving "an even safer and more comfortable experience".

Scoop: 2014 Mercedes-Benz E-Cabriolet gets Single Headlamps, Keeps "Pontoon" Fenders

The new front-end with single (instead of quad) headlamp units seen on a completely naked version of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG sedan parked outside a hotel in Madrid last month, will also decorate the fascia of the rest of the E-Class family that includes the Estate (station wagon), Coupe and Convertible models.

However, that was to be expected. What we weren't sure about was whether Mercedes-Benz would also eliminate the so-called "Pontoon" style fenders on the two-door models, as it did on the revamped sedan.

Spy Shots: Mercedes-Benz GLA Crossover Caught Testing Again

The European launch of the A-Class is only the beginning of Mercedes-Benz's attack in the compact car segment, as the hatchback will soon be followed by several other models, including the CLA four-door coupe (possibly as early as this January at the Detroit Motor Show), and a SUV version, likely to be called the GLA, in early 2014.

And it is a prototype of the GLA crossover that our scoop photographers nabbed testing in Germany this week.

Scoop: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series Keeps its Cool on Video

Spy shooters have recorded a prototype of the upcoming Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series running a few hot laps around the Nürburgring, and unlike last time, when the car caught on fire and burned to the ground, this one was able to complete the test…unscathed.

The SLS AMG Black Series Edition will be the ultimate street-legal version of the regular SLS AMG GT with many performance enhancements including a tweaked 6.2-liter V8 engine producing as much as 650-ponies, and a look to match its newly found power.

Spy Shots: 330hp Should Put the Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG into Your Radar

Another camouflaged version of Mercedes-Benz's upcoming CLA 45 AMG sports saloon has entered the field of our spy photographer's lens.

You can think of the CLA 45 AMG as the poor man's (or so to speak) CLS 63 AMG, as it will offer respectable performance in a smaller package and at a much lower price. In fact, it will be the cheapest AMG offering for North American buyers (Europeans will also have the option of the lower-priced A 45 AMG).

Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Edition Prototype Burns to the Ground on the 'Ring

What could have been a follow up on Monday's news on the sighting of another prototype of Mercedes-Benz's SLS AMG Black Series Edition took a…toastier twist today as the German firm's test car ended up on a guardrail while running on the Nürburgring race track and burned to the ground.

There's not a lot of information about the incident at this time, though, we do know that both the driver and his passenger abandoned the vehicle uninjured before it was engulfed in flames.

The bits and pieces of the SLS AMG Black Series Edition that are scatted on the ground along with the positioning of the car suggest that drive may have lost control smashing into the guardrail with the Gullwing coupe's rear end.

Scoop: 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Shows its Sharper Face on the 'Ring

Here's our first glimpse of the redesigned 2014 model Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG that will make its debut alongside the rest of the facelifted E-Class family, including the regular saloons, Estate, Convertible and Coupe models, early next year with sales to follow in spring.

The common denominator of these models is the smoother and more contemporary lines of the body, something mainly achieved through the replacement of the quartet of headlights with two single units and the scraping of the "Ponton" style rear fenders rear.

Scoop: Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG's Darker and More Sinister Black Edition Sibling Shows its Face

We've lost track of the number of SLS AMG Black Series Edition test cars spied over the past year or so, and as it appears, Mercedes-Benz is still not done developing the hottest production version of its 'Gull-wing' coupe.

Now, for the first time, we have captured the Black Edition without its face covered in camouflage, revealing the design changes and details such as the lip spoiler and the aerodynamic canards on the corners of the bumper.

This particular prototype was also fitted with a large fixed wing on the boot, something absent from the previous test models.

Scoop: Mercedes-Benz Takes Out GLA 'Baby' SUV Test Car for a Walk

In July, Daimler Chief Executive Dieter Zetsche confirmed that Mercedes-Benz has green lighted the development of a new 'baby' SUV based on the new A-Class' MFA (Mercedes Front-Wheel Drive Architecture) hardware to slot right under the GLK, and now, we have the first photos of the German firm's prototype model.

While in some ways different from the A-Class in the sense that the car in these pictures rides higher and features much wider fenders and pronounced shoulders, it also sports a very similar body to the five-door hatchback, which point to a hybrid test mule and as such, the shape and styling is far from final.
