Take a Look at this Ferrari Quattroporte Design Concept

Automotive designer Alex Imnadze, whose name might not ring a bell right away, but you may remember him from one of his concepts for a Lamborghini supercar that we showed you earlier this month, sent us his latest project for a Ferrari super saloon.

Unlike the Lamborghini coupe study, Imnadze's new Ferrari concept has a name; it's called the Quattroporte, though, as you can imagine, this wouldn't sit well with the Fiat Group's other supercar-maker, Maserati

Ferraris have always been a favorite subject among aspiring designers who wish to offer their own take on what a supercar from Maranello should look like.

Designer Thinks Out of the Box with Ferrari Elevated Grand Tourer Study

Most of you will probably agree that, if there is one category of vehicles a supercar maker of the likes of Ferrari ought to stay away from, it is the SUV / crossover segment.

Designers, of course, are free to imagine anything without the usual constraints that come with production models. Enter the world of Li Cheng Hsu, an aspiring student at the Art Center College of Design in California.

Ferrari Collector Convinces Maranello to Build Him a One-of-a-Kind 599 GTO Coupe

As far as hobbies go, collecting V12-engined Ferraris certainly beats golf or fly-fishing – provided, of course, that you have the means. Cheerag Arya, or CA as he prefers to be called, is one of the lucky few.

CA, who was born in India, has spent much of his time in the US and for the last six years live in Dubai where he has established a new manufacturing plant at Ras al Khaimah, one of the seven states that constitute the United Arab Emirates.

A Video Walkaround of James Glickenhaus' One-Off P4/5 Competizione

The racing version of Jim Glickenhaus' one-off, Ferrari-powered and Pininfarina-designed, P4/5 Competizione is an amazing car for more reasons than one.

However, the fact that it recently set a world record for any Ferrari-powered sports car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife at 6 minutes and 51 seconds beating the 700-horsepower Ferrari 599XX's 2010 lap time of 6:58 should be considered its greatest accomplishment.

U Spot: Notice Anything Different About this Ferrari…GT Aperta?

Carscoop reader Jonathan Y. emailed us these pictures of a Ferrari SA Aperta with a few styling twists that he snapped in Switzerland.

Jonathan tells us that the Italian roadster looked original but featured some differences over the regular model including a 'GT Aperta' logo finished in black at the rear end of the car.

Revealed at the 2010 Paris Motor Show, the standard SA Aperta is a roadster version of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano equipped with the 599 GTO coupe's more potent 6.0-liter V12 producing an output of 661hp (670PS) and a peak torque of 620Nm (457 lb-ft).

Ferrari 365 Turin Design Study

In the realm of digital renderings, a concept model doesn't necessarily have to replace an existing or even an older model from an automaker's lineup.

The 365 Turin is a design study for a new Ferrari supercar created by independent designer David Williams from Sydney, Australia.

Designer Envisions the Upcoming Ferrari F70 Supercar

You have probably seen our most recent scoop pictures of the prototypes of Ferrari's Enzo replacement undergoing tests in Europe, but what could the actual production version look like when the new model, reportedly named the F70, hits showrooms in late 2013?

For now, this is a question that will likely remain mercifully answered, but we have an interesting design study for the Ferrari F70 that was penned by industrial designer and current employee of Pininfarina's German subsidiary in Rüsselsheim, Constantin-Gabriel Radu.

The concept borrows elements from both the Ferrari 458 Italia as well as the previous Enzo, combining curves with hard creases and a teardrop glasshouse. If this design were to be produced, we would imagine that the car would obtain more air vents both on the sides and more importantly, on the rear end.

Bespoke Ferrari SP12, Reportedly Owned by Eric Clapton, Filmed as it was Leaving London Showroom

Here's an update on our previous story on the one-of-a-kind Ferrari SP12 that was spotted at HR Owen showroom in London on Wednesday night.

YouTube user Shmee150, not only took some video footage from the presentation last night, but he was also able to hand the camera to someone inside the dealership today and film the car up close as it was leaving to be delivered to its new owner, who is rumored to be none other than Eric Clapton.

While we still don't have any official information on the car, Shmee150's inside man at HR Owen gave some details about the vehicle in the video description. Among other things, the insider says that the coachbuilt Ferrari is based on the 458 Italia and retains its V8 engine despite rumors about a V12.

One-Off Ferrari SP12 Based on the 458 Italia and Allegedly Powered by a V12

For the past 24 hours, the web has been abuzz with a one-off Ferrari model that reportedly made its debut last night in an enclosed glass structure at H.R. Owen, a London based dealer of high-end cars.

We don't have anything official on the right-hand drive Ferrari model. However, we see that it wears a license plate that reads SP12 (possibly for Special Program and V12) and that it is based on the 458 Italia with the coachbuilt body resembling the classic 12-cylinder Ferrari 512i BB from the late 1970s, early 1980s.

Ferrari F12berlinetta Rendered as a Spider Model

The all-new Ferrari F12berlinetta was only just unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show a couple of days ago, but it's never too early to speculate on the future.

The Carscoop reader who we've come to know by the alias "Lil-k Amaru" has whipped up quick rendering of what a spider version of the new Ferrari supercar may look like if Maranello were to create such a version.

Being that 'berlinetta' literally means little saloon in Italian and is used for two-seater coupes, we imagine that the open-top variant could be named something like F12spider. A high-resolution version of the opening picture can be viewed after the jump.
